Courtesy Carts

Eight passenger open-air courtesy carts are available for anyone who needs a little extra help getting from the parking lot to The Soraya’s Great Hall. The courtesy carts are driven by Soraya staff and circle every 5 minutes between parking lot B1 and The Soraya courtyard (near our ticket office and just steps from our North Entrance). Service begins 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of each performance and ends 45 minutes after the conclusion of the performance.

For your comfort, fully enclosed shuttle vans may be used instead of our open-air courtesy carts on days with inclement weather. Please note that courtesy cart transportation is generally not available for performances at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall, unless otherwise noted at time of ticket purchase.

More information on seat locations can be found on our Seating Charts page, or by calling our Ticket Office at 818-677-3000, Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Service Animals

Consistent with the state laws of California, and Americans With Disabilities Act, A service animal is defined as any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability. Please note that pets or emotional support animals are not considered service animals. All other animals are prohibited in the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (The Soraya) and Plaza del Sol Performance Hall.

Patrons with service animals:

  • Are solely responsible for their control and must keep them on a leash or in a harness at all times. If these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the patron’s disability prevents using these devices, the patron must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls. Soraya employees are not permitted to take control of service animals.

  • Service animals must rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. The patron may be reseated to a more accommodating location if needed.

  • Service animals are welcome to use any open outdoor area for relief as long as the patron picks up after the animal and leaves the area clean.

  • Service animals will be removed if they pose a threat to safety or cause disturbance. Patrons with service animals are solely liable for any damage or injury caused by their service animal.
