Star of the screen and Broadway stage, Joshua Henry undeniably possesses many talents. In our recent interview, I told him I consider his voice one of the best in the world. He took the compliment and ran with it, discussing his influences as well as his discipline and dedication to his craft.
Soraya audiences have seen him twice before and can attest to the beauty and power of his voice. His rendering of “The Impossible Dream” for our 10th Anniversary in April 2022 was among the most memorable moments in Soraya history. That same night, at the after-party, I asked him if he had a solo show he’d like to bring to The Soraya, that we were ready for an entire evening of his vast and versatile talent. 18 months later, on November 2, 2023, he brings us just that – Joshua Henry performing some of the greatest hits of the past half-century, including a few tunes from his Broadway songbook as well.
