In the past week, if I find myself getting down, I simply watch this video to restore my spirits.
At The Soraya, we are committed to arts and music education, both for aspiring young artists and as part of the general curriculum in support of educating the “whole person” – future citizens and future audiences. Many of our artists, when they’re not touring the world, are themselves educators. In this brilliant video from the Juilliard School, you will find 6 faculty who are Soraya “alums.” And if you have to watch the video several times in order to find them, as I did, you’ll grow to appreciate all the more the humor, joy, and talent that these students demonstrate while persevering in the middle of this COVID crisis.
