Violinist Margaret Batjer is one of the most admired classical musicians in Los Angeles. Having played with The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for 25 years, she is the artist most associated with the esteemed ensemble. In the interview above, you will appreciate the breadth of her knowledge and the warmth and humanity with which she approaches the music.
She has performed on The Soraya’s stage many times, but never so fully featured as she will be on November 30 when she leads Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos.
Gratefully,
