Fridays This Fall: Share the Gift of the Performing Arts

Final Edition

Parties, preparations, and observances – December can be such a busy month. This year, the world will observe the holidays and New Year in a quieter manner. We hope one thing that remains constant this year is music and performances. Time-honored traditions, from carols to Auld Lang Syne, we consider it our duty and mission to help you celebrate from the front row seat on your sofa. Over three consecutive weekends in December, we offer you programs that I have personally chosen to help brighten your holiday mood – from the world’s most elite chamber music, to imaginative puppetry, to our annual Mexican holiday program. Since we have the gift of time this holiday season, I encourage you to try something new, or try everything. Also, please share the gift of music and performance with those who might not otherwise have access. Some are free, and some require a small fee. Some are time-specific, and some will launch online and then be available for viewing at your convenience. Familiarize yourself with the various options here.

We will miss seeing you in person this holiday season. Our Grand Staircase had become a Valley hotspot for family holiday photos, and last year, we had finally found our perfect Nutcracker, and it was a smash hit! While 2020 may be remembered for the things we are missing, we hope that The Soraya has offered something to remember and something to lift your spirits.

Gratefully,
