“The best classical music of 2015.” (New York Times) wild Up, led by Christopher Rountree, conceived a concert that pairs Adams’ transcendental music with the music of Adams’ hero, Charles Ives.

L.A.’s firebrand conductor Christopher Rountree turns up the heat in a birthday tribute to John Adams. Rountree contextualizes the American standards of Adams and Charles Ives with Bolcom’s rags and covers of punk bands like Deerhoof.
