| Coco Live-to-Film Concert National Tour: Experience the film Coco While the Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de Mèxico Brings the Iconic Score to Life at The Soraya October 26-27, 2024
Disney Concerts and AMP Worldwide present Disney Pixar’s Coco Live-to-Film Concert on Tour featuring a screening of the complete film with Oscar® and GRAMMY®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s musical score performed by the 20-member Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México, at 3. p.m. on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 at The Soraya. In addition to the original score by Giacchino, Coco also features the Oscar®-winning song Remember Me by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco and co-director and screenwriter Adrian Molina.

Powerhouse singer and actress Eva Noblezada will open the 2025 Jazz at Naz festival on Saturday, Feb 1 with Chris Walden’s Pacific Jazz Orchestra (PJO), marking the start of The Soraya’s 4th-annual festival and her Soraya debut.

Classical Nights at The Soraya return this fall with a fascinating array of four different performances that explore a boundless collection of music. London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) will launch classical events at The Soraya on Thursday, October 10 with the U. S. premiere of Cuban American composer Tania León’s “Raíces” (“Origins”). With Maestro Edward Gardner on the podium, the evening will also introduce The Soraya audience to noted American violinist Randall Goosby, performing works by Samuel Barber, and Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36.”

For two performances only, Stars from two of Broadway’s biggest hits in recent years, Javier Muñoz from Hamilton and In the Heights and Reeve Carney from Hadestown and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, face off as good and evil as the headliners of Randy Newman’s FAUST: The Concert.

— The London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), under the baton of Principal Conductor Edward Gardner, will perform at The Soraya with American concert violinist Randall Goosby on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m., performing Barber’s “Violin Concerto, Op. 14,” featuring violin soloist Goosby, Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36,” and Tania León’s Raíces (Origins).
| Announcing The Soraya’s 2024-25 Season!
The Soraya announced its 2024-25 Season to a sold-out house on Saturday, May 11, at the performance of Tony Award-winning Broadway star Aaron Tveit with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra. True to The Soraya form, the new season features more than 40 events from every genre, including jazz, dance, and classical along with original presentations found only at The Soraya. The season also includes returning favorites, 12 major artists making their Soraya debuts, and a new series of innovative programming.
