The Soraya is proud to present the Los Angeles premiere of the new animated feature created on behalf of the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary. The Sound of Magic will play on the big screen, featuring excerpts from dozens of classics, along with the music we know so well, in this case performed by New West Symphony.
Imagine having the responsibility to select those excerpts from the entirety of the Disney catalog!? That’s exactly what Amy Tinkham was charged with doing as Creative Director for the project, along with Gilles Martin, the music director, and a large group of collaborators.
Amy shares her experience in this interview, including her time in the famous Disney “vault” Join her at The Soraya on November 18.
