Director Selects: Broadway's Eva Noblezada & Pacific Jazz Orchestra will Launch Jazz at Naz

By Thor Steingraber

Following the resounding success of last year’s debut concert with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra featuring Aaron Tveit, I knew we had to top ourselves. Who are the greatest vocalists wowing audiences today? The question has been answered – Eva Noblezada will join us in a concert featuring the large jazz ensemble, performing the incomparable musical arrangements of Chris Walden.

Noblezada has amassed an impressive list of accomplishments in her young career, including a Grammy award and two Tony nominations. She is best known for her leading roles in Hadestown and The Great Gatsby. I was recently able to catch one of her performances in Gatsby on Broadway, and her portrayal of the iconic American figure, Daisy Buchanan, was riveting. She brings such depth and complexity to both her acting and singing.

In addition to Broadway and jazz fans, we are proud to introduce her to the Valley’s extensive Filipino-American and Mexican-American audiences. Noblezada is a Southern California native with deep roots in these vibrant communities.

Gratefully,
