2025 was a year of challenge and change for many –
in the earliest days of the year, some were forced to flee fire,
and as the months turned to summer, more disruptive forces emerged.
Throughout the entirety of the year, The Soraya continued –
committed to convening and to our communities,
undeterred from these unifying purposes: to uplift, inspire, educate, and to serve.
In 2025, artists were joined by audiences and students in record numbers –
on the stage, in the lobby, and in the auditorium, sharing an armrest with a stranger –
a testament that live performances affirm the best in us all.
May 2026 be a fresh chapter for re-committing, re-building, and re-emerging.
May the Year ahead truly be NEW.
