Classical music’s “power couple” are partners onstage and off, overseeing a massive volume of work as musicians and arts leaders. For the first time, they appear at The Soraya just as a duo—piano and cello. The program was selected specially for the occasion, to feature the music of Beethoven and Brahms. Again and again, Finckel and Wu Han’s performances garner ecstatic reviews, reflective of the deep connection conjured by two artists who know each other so well.
