Director Selects: Delfeayo Marsalis joins brothers in the history of performances at The Soraya

On February 7 we will welcome the third of the Marsalis Brothers to The Soraya. We previously hosted Wynton Marsalis and Branford Marsalis, and now finally we bring Delfeayo Marsalis and his Uptown Jazz Orchestra, the ultimate purveyors of the New Orleans sound.
In curating a jazz festival, one of the things that is most exciting is representing the many regions of the Americas, each with its own distinct jazz tradition. In this video interview with Mr. Marsalis, you will learn more about how he preserves and furthers the incredible music of his hometown.
