One of the most remarkable bassists on today’s jazz scene, GRAMMY Award-winning Linda May Han Oh wraps up the 2026 Jazz at Naz festival with her quintet featuring vocalist Sara Serpa, saxophonist Melissa Aldana, pianist (and husband) Fabian Almazan, and drummer Mark Whitfield Jr. A recipient of the 2023 Herb Alpert Award in the Arts, Oh has been called “a major bass voice” (JazzTimes; 2022 Bassist of the Year), and “one of the most dynamic rising stars in jazz today” (The Wall Street Journal). Her setlist will feature her catalog of original compositions across several albums, and more.
